  • Assist in setting up field upon arrival.
  • Handle and place aluminum stencils for inlaid field markings.
  • Handle and place straight edge.
  • Cut turf with scissors and razor knives with precision.
  • Place turf markings & logos into hot glue.
  • Check seam quality and bond strength of glued turf.
  • Perform clean up around job site.
  • Assist with walk-through at job completion.
  • The duties listed above are basic and are not limited to this list, additional duties can be assigned.


Education and Experience:
One (1) year experience working in construction labor, or (2) years of experience in construction or any equivalent combination of education and experience (farm labor, carpet installation, pipe line, timber company, etc.).

Special Requirements:

  • Skilled in efficient operation of assigned equipment.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with other employees, and general public.
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must have a clean criminal background.
  • Must be drug free & pass pre-employment & random drug screenings.
  • Must be able to travel and be away from home for extended periods of time.


Walking, standing, lifting, kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping are daily requirements of this job and some are required for extended periods of time throughout the day.

The employee must frequently lift, pull, carry and/or move up to 50-75 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
The employee must frequently work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time.

Position Overview:

Specific responsibilities include cold calling prospects, cultivating relationships and daily sales calls on existing customers. Must present products, systems and solutions to architects, engineers, end users and other users. New end use business development skills are preferred. Additionally, he or she must continually prospect for viable new accounts while developing a key awareness of what is happening within their geographic area.


  • Work with architects, engineers, distributors, end users, contractors, etc. to select appropriate products for their projects that fit within their usage requirements, budget and time frame.
  • Travel daily throughout assigned area to call on existing customers and prospect new customers to solicit business.
  • Manage project from inception to completion including identifying opportunity, product selection, specification, order placement, order tracking, delivery coordination, installation oversight, punch walk/ claim coordination( if necessary), and communication of maintenance program.
  • Must be motivated and comfortable working and supporting a closely knit team environment.
  • Must be able and competent to work with and manage customer base thru CRM ( Customer Relationship Management) tool such as
  • Build relationships with existing and new customers by entertaining such as lunches, dinners or special events.

Rolhard Turf Territory Sales Manager must implement the selling process in his/her area; they must have the ability to make good judgment decisions. A full understanding of the product line is essential. Furthermore, an understanding of the application that each product serves is critical. The ability to interface/communicate with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectable manner is a must. The ideal candidate will possess a flexible personality and be able to communicate clearly to other persons, both orally and in written form. Rolhard Turf Specialist must give presentations to architects, engineers, and end-users to educate them on the turf industry and how Rolhard Turf can benefit them on their projects.
